Watch as Roger does his part for the environment at the annual Earth Day LA celebration. Held at Pan Pacific Park in Los Angeles the afternoon activities offer Sanitation truck demonstrations where youngsters can climb aboard vehicles, composting demos where they can get their hands dirty, and numerous other fun activities with an eco-friendly theme. Sponsored by LA Sanitation and Environment, participants learn valuable tips on conservation and recycling, helpful lessons that they can take with them when they become the future stewards of our fragile planet. Then watch as the Academy Museum honors a true legend of the silver screen with the premiere of their latest exhibit: “Marilyn Monroe: Hollywood Icon.” The special exhibition honors what would have been Monroe’s one-hundredth birthday and features rare candid photographs of Monroe, personal items like make up and jewelry, and an exquisite collection of costumes from her films including the iconic white dress from “The Seven Year Itch” and the sexy pink ensemble from “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.”
